About this directory

This directory follows 20 trading platforms: 14 centralised exchanges and 6 DeFi protocols (Aster, Hyperliquid, Jupiter, Lighter, PancakeSwap and Uniswap). Each row opens a platform page that shows which countries the platform serves, where single products such as derivatives or spot trading are withdrawn, and which licences it holds.

Statuses are built from verified data rows, never estimates. The 2,486 rows behind these platforms cite 298 distinct sources, and each one records the date it was last checked and a confidence level. Platform documents come first: terms of service, restricted-country lists and licence announcements, followed by regulator publications. Where a platform publishes a closed list of excluded countries, the countries missing from it are marked available at medium confidence. Where the documents are silent, our geo-access test is the next piece of evidence, and a country nobody has researched yet stays unknown. The methodology page sets out the full source hierarchy.

The Available, Limited and Restricted columns count the 209 countries and territories in each status for that platform. Limited means the platform accepts users there with products withdrawn or conditions attached; every platform here has at least one limited country. Gemini has the longest restricted list at 175 jurisdictions, while Coinbase is available in the most, 121. Countries tested shows where we opened the platform ourselves from a local IP address: 2,070 checks from 134 countries and territories so far.
