Terms of use
These terms apply whenever you use this website. By using it you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. About the site
CryptoRestrictions.com ("we", "us") publishes research on where cryptocurrency exchanges, DeFi protocols and prediction markets are available, limited or restricted, together with the sources behind each finding. The site is free to read and needs no account.
2. Information only, not advice
Everything on this site is general information. It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to use or avoid any platform or product. A status of "available" describes what a platform offers in a place. It does not mean that using it is lawful for you. The full statement is in our disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
3. Accuracy
We verify statuses against primary sources and show the date each one was last checked, as described in the methodology. Platforms and regulators change their rules without notice, so information may be out of date or incomplete when you read it. Always confirm with the platform and, where it matters, with a qualified adviser before acting.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site to break any law or regulation that applies to you;
- treat our content as instructions for getting around a platform's geographic restrictions, identity checks or sanctions controls (we do not publish such instructions);
- attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities or overload it with automated requests;
- present our content as your own or imply that we endorse you.
5. Using our content and data
The text, datasets, charts, maps and design of this site belong to us unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to quote short extracts and cite individual data points, in journalism, research or commentary, provided you credit CryptoRestrictions.com and link to the page you used.
Copying substantial parts of the site or the dataset, republishing it in bulk or using it in a competing product needs our written permission first. Write to contact@cryptorestrictions.com.
6. Third-party names, logos and links
Platform and regulator names and logos are the property of their owners. We show them only to identify the organisations we report on. We are independent: we are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any platform or authority listed on this site.
Links to other websites are provided as sources and for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
7. No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranty, express or implied, that the content is accurate, complete, current or fit for any particular purpose, or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site. That includes trading losses, frozen or closed accounts, lost profits, penalties and any indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or affects rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
9. Corrections and complaints
If you believe something on the site is wrong, or that it infringes your rights, tell us at contact@cryptorestrictions.com with the page address and a source we can check. We review every report and correct confirmed errors promptly.
10. Privacy
How we handle the limited data involved in running the site is set out in the privacy policy.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the site develops. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
