The UK government announced 38 new Russia-related sanctions designations on 8 October 2026, according to GOV.UK. They include three crypto exchanges and two payment platforms, three of them linked to Kyrgyzstan, plus one linked individual.

What the announcement says

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office says it suspects the entities are used by Russia to circumvent financial sanctions, and that two of them processed transactions for the Kremlin-backed A7 network. The press release does not name them. TRM Labs lists the designated entities as Xeltox Enterprises Ltd (also listed as Cryptomus and Heleket), TokenSpot CJSC, Tsunami Payments LLC, OJSC Processing KG, JSC Planeta and a commercial bank.

What changes in our data

Nothing. None of the named entities is a platform we track, so no platform status changes. The UK designated HTX’s operator, Huobi Global S.A., in May 2026; that is covered in our HTX UK entry.
