The UK Financial Conduct Authority published a warning on 21 May 2026 saying Hyperliquid is not authorised by it and may be providing or promoting financial services or products without its permission. The page was last updated on 7 June 2026.

What the warning says

  • Websites and accounts. The FCA lists hyperfoundation.org and app.hyperliquid.xyz, along with several social media and messaging accounts.
  • Consumer protection. Dealing with an unauthorised firm means no access to the Financial Ombudsman Service and no cover from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
  • Not a block. The notice is a warning. It does not say Hyperliquid has been ordered to stop serving UK users.

What changes in our data

The United Kingdom stays available for Hyperliquid at high confidence, because Hyperliquid’s own terms do not exclude it. The row now carries the FCA warning in its reason.
