From 16 January 2026 residents of France and Germany can no longer open Bitget accounts. French users were wound down by 31 March; Bitget said it would give German users notice of any further changes.
What changes in our data
Germany stays restricted, now with the sign-up closure as the effective date. Both countries are on Bitget’s prohibited-countries list.
