On 24 May 2024 OKX said that OKX HK had withdrawn its application for a virtual asset trading platform licence from the Securities and Futures Commission.

What changed

  • Trading ended on 31 May 2024. OKX stopped providing centralised trading services to Hong Kong residents from that date.
  • Withdrawals until 31 August 2024. Residents had until then to move their assets off the platform.
